Ron Bone, RCA

Ron Bone was born in County Durham, England in 1950. He studied at the Bath Academy of Art between 1968 and 1972 graduating with a BA (Honors) degree. He then continued on to study at the Royal College of Art, London from 1973-1976 and earned a Master of Arts degree.

He has taught at the Croydon College of Art, Trent Polytechnic Art School, Reading College of Art and at the Bath Academy of Art.

Ron Bone became involved with the film and television industries but ultimately returned to painting full time.

He has had numerous one man and group exhibitions at prominent galleries in London as well as at other parts of England over the past twenty years with considerable success. These include, The Royal Academy of London, The Royal West of England Academy and The Bath Society of Artists. His paintings can be found in prominent collections, worldwide.
