Amby
Leblanc is a Canadian artist who for many years was a professional athlete.
Amby became fascinated by the splendor and variety of the North American
landscape during his travels.
A professional artist for over twenty years, Amby is a self-taught plain-air painter who credits his development by influences of the late John Carlson and Paul Strisik. For several of those years he spent much time painting street scenes near Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City and the fishing villages of Nova Scotia. He often paints rural scenes near Mount Mansfield near the Vermont border. His impressionistic rendition of apple blossoms, marine paintings and street scenes can be found in numerous public and private corporate collections as well as premiere galleries in several countries.
