Jim Rodgers

Mr. Rodgers’ paintings range in subject from luscious American and European pastoral landscapes to elegant and sophisticated still life renderings. Rodgers’ intention is to capture the mood of a scene, particularly a landscape, and help the viewer feel the subject as he experienced it, “en plein air”.

He says of his work, “In my Barbizon style, I try to capture the subtlety of light and its gracious effect upon the landscape.”
