JOY JACKSON

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Joy Jackson had formal training at Barry University, the Pratt Institute and the Brooklyn Museum Art School. She is a member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society and a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society.

Jackson says of her work, "Using a contemporary impressionist style, my goal is to bring attention to the small moments in time that touch us all and help define our lives every bit as much as the grand events that we often focus on. Whether I'm painting people, places or objects, I try to capture these vignettes and hope that my audience will feel included. I hope my paintings will elicit a personal response from the viewer."
