ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
William Reid Mainds was born in England sometime in the 1800s. He was a painter of landscapes. He was reported to have lived in Helensburgh, England.
​
Very little is known about this British artist, however, it is known that in 1885, he did exhibit at the Royal Scottish Society as well at the Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts.
​
He died sometime after 1885.
