ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Alice Imogen Howells was born on October 11, 1889. She was a painter of Harbor scenes and only one of her paintings have come up at auctions.
She studied with Charles Hawthorne and William Merril Chase. She was also a sculptor.
Alice Imogen Howells exhibited at the Pan-American International Exhibit in San Diego where she was awarded a Silver Medal for the painting we are currently offering.
She died sometime in 1937 in New York, New York.
