ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Simon Van Gelderen was born in Brussels, Belgium in 1905. He was a painter of flowers, landscapes, hunt scenes, cityscapes and church interiors.
He studied at the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts and at Saint-Luc Academy.
His paintings have a wonderful sense of elegance and atmosphere.
Van Gelderen died in Ostende in 1986.
