MICHAEL ZENO DIEMER (GERMAN, 1867-1939)

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Michael Zeno Diemer was born on February 8, 1867 in Munich, Germany. He was a painter of marines, battle scenes and landscapes and worked both with oils and watercolors.

He began to exhibit in Munich in 1909 and continued to do so in various major venues throughout his career. 

At the Lucerne Historical Museum, listed in their catalog of paintings are Diemer's masterpieces, "Night after a Battle" and "The Naval Battle of Saint Lago'.

Diemer died in Oberammergau, Germany in 1939.
