ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Robert Stone was born in England in 1820. He was a painter of hunt scenes.
​
While very little is known about this artist, he is today considered a highly talented painter of charming hunt scenes, usually quite small. His paintings, when they do appear on the art scene, are highly sought after, in spite of the limited information on him.
​
Robert Stone died young at the age of fifty in 1870.
