ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Claire Conant's interest in art and nature developed when she was very young. Largely self-taught she has taken workshops and art classes with contemporary artists and learns from works of the Old Masters. She has a particular interest in Tonalism and strives to express the beauty and serenity found in nature which provides endless inspiration. Claire enjoys painting in her studio and on location. On their travels she and her husband often sketch together.
Painting is a source of peace and joy for her.
